SMS program disclosure
böredmoodstudio SMS consent and opt-in
This public page explains how users and event attendees opt in to receive transactional SMS messages from böredmoodstudio at boredmood.studio. The program is for account verification codes and important event attendee updates only. It is not a third-party marketing text-message program.
Where opt-in happens
A user opts in on the böredmoodstudio website or mobile web app during phone sign-up, phone sign-in, or event checkout authentication. The user enters their mobile phone number and must manually check the SMS consent checkbox before the Text Me The Code button can send an SMS.
- 1. The phone field is shown at https://boredmood.studio/login when phone auth is enabled.
- 2. The checkbox is not preselected.
- 3. If the checkbox is not checked, the app does not send an SMS code.
- 4. After consent, the user taps Text Me The Code and receives a one-time verification SMS.
Who receives messages
Only users who provide their own phone number and check the SMS consent box may receive SMS. Organizer event text blasts are limited to phone-authenticated attendees who joined, RSVP'd, or bought tickets for that organizer's event.
